I don’t know how I would make it through an entire VeganMoFo without having a survey or two to bail me out on my days when I can’t properly blog. Keri from “I Eat Trees” posted this little gem the other day, so I jumped on the chance to use up one of my “lazy cards”.
I know it’s only the fourth day.
Today marks the first day of VeganMoFo!

I can’t even explain how fun and rewarding this past year has been. You guys are the best, seriously!
I have over 1000 subscribers to my feed already… thank all you so much! I look forward to many more years and many more recipes. But for now, I’ll spare you anymore of this mushy talk and get straight to the presents!
Since all I tend to do around here is post recipes and yammer on about myself… I thought it would be great to use this platform to introduce you guys to a fellow blogger: “The Veggie Gal”, Kim Newman.
The classic combo of peaches and cream makes for a wonderful treat any time of day. I slipped some strawberries in there too.. because they also go stunningly with cream.
But, more importantly than any ol’ smoothie- I want to send out a virtual hug and high fives to all of my readers! Manifest Vegan was chosen as one of the Top 10 veg blogs in VegNews’ latest issue (July-August)!!

When I was growing up, I felt super lucky to have a large wooded backyard. I spent almost all of my (non-school) time out there, no matter what the weather was doing. One of my favorite seasons was summertime- when the raspberry bushes would flourish. I ate a lot of raspberries as a child. I looked forward to them every single year, for 12 years. When I moved out of my parents’ house at the age of 18, and ventured into my own world, the raspberries stayed behind.
